The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has announced that the emirate will host the SITE Global Conference 2026, marking the first time the event will be held in the Middle East. The SITE Global Conference serves as one of the key annual gatherings for the incentive travel sector, bringing together industry professionals from around the world.
Mubarak Al Shamisi, Director of Abu Dhabi Convention and Exhibition Bureau, said the achievement reflects Abu Dhabi’s commitment to building a strong MICE ecosystem supported by advanced infrastructure, exceptional hospitality, and diverse attractions.
Abu Dhabi has made significant investments in event infrastructure, with landmark venues such as Qasr Al Watan, Yas Marina Circuit, and state-of-the-art conference centres contributing to its appeal. The emirate also continues to focus on sustainability, innovation, and cultural heritage.
The upcoming conference is expected to bring together global industry leaders and contribute to ongoing collaboration within the regional MICE sector.
