EPEX: Global Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Destination Events Trade Show for the Middle East and India

We have proudly been part of the EPEX journey since its inception a decade ago, never missing a single edition. What I value most is how closely the organisers work with hotels, venues, and DMCs to handpick truly relevant buyers from India and other key source markets. Every buyer at the show is a serious planner of international events, which makes the engagement highly meaningful.

What I love about EPEX is that it’s true to its name—this is a very experiential and immersive show. The energy of the show has been fantastic, and I’ve had the chance to meet such a diverse group of event planners—not just from the UAE, but across the GCC, Africa, Russia, the UK, and of course, India.

For us at IHG, partnerships go well beyond just participating in a show, and at EPEX, we managed to do exactly that. We partnered with EPEX on an exclusive hosted buyer program and welcomed 50 of our top clients from India and the Middle East to our Dubai properties. This partnership brought immense value far beyond the exhibition itself. The show has been fantastic, with all our Objectives that we aimed to achieve by participating in EPEX and we are very happy with the results.

This is actually our very first year at the EPEX. I had heard such great things about the show from an industry peer, and I’m so glad I decided to participate. I got to reconnect with many old clients I hadn’t seen in a long time, and I also met amazing planners I had only known through Instagram until now.
