Marriott International Expands in Morocco with Five New Brands

Marriott International has announced plans to expand its presence in Morocco through the introduction of five new hotel brands: Four Points by Sheraton, Moxy Hotels, Residence Inn by Marriott, Autograph Collection Hotels, and AC Hotels by Marriott.

This move is part of a broader expansion strategy that will see the company launch seven additional properties with more than 800 new rooms by the end of 2027. The expansion is aimed at catering to a diverse range of travellers while strengthening Marriott’s position in Morocco’s fast-growing tourism market.

“Our expansion in the market will allow us to better serve the evolving needs of travellers, offer more experiences to our valued Marriott Bonvoy members, and contribute to job creation and hospitality excellence across the country,” said Ronny Maier, Regional Vice President Southern Europe and Northwest Africa, Marriott International.

Currently, Marriott operates 10 properties across six brands in five key cities: Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakesh, Fes, and Tamuda Bay, offering a total of over 1,700 rooms.
