The Hanging House Brings BMW M Square to Life at 1 Billion Followers Summit 2026

The Hanging House has unveiled details of its experiential activation for BMW Group Middle East at the 1 Billion Followers Summit 2026, transforming the outdoor precinct between Emirates Towers, DIFC, and the Museum of the Future into a creator-focused brand environment designed around the identity of BMW M.

Titled BMW M Square, the activation was conceived as a modular experiential district that combined automotive display, tactile engagement, and social-first interaction within one integrated space. Set against the backdrop of the Museum of the Future, the installation featured the BMW M5 and BMW M2 positioned at carefully engineered 45-degree angles to maximise visual impact and content creation opportunities for creators and attendees.

Designed to cut through the highly saturated creator-event environment of the summit, the experience blended industrial-inspired architecture, expressive lighting, networking spaces, and interactive engagement zones. Visitors moved through a series of touchpoints including a collectibles claw machine, blower challenge, GIF photobooth, and branded participation areas tailored for social capture and digital engagement.

According to the organisers, the activation generated over 12,000 engagements and 2 million impressions during the summit, while also functioning as a premium lead-generation and networking environment for BMW Group Middle East.

“The most challenging part was getting the car placement right. The 45-degree angle was not just a design choice, it was the moment that made the stand work visually. But making that happen on uneven outdoor flooring, while protecting the cars, maintaining guest flow, and keeping the experience premium, required a lot of precision.”
