IHG Hotels & Resorts is strengthening its footprint in Europe with the signing of 11 hotels across Germany, Belgium, and France, adding more than 1,800 rooms to its regional portfolio as conversion-led growth continues to gain momentum.
The agreement will see the properties—currently operating under the PentaHotels brand—transition into IHG’s Holiday Inn, voco, and Garner brands. The portfolio includes six hotels in Germany, four in Belgium, and one in France, with locations spanning key city centres and major airport hubs such as Brussels Airport and Paris Charles de Gaulle.
The move also marks the debut of Garner in Belgium, underscoring IHG’s focus on scalable conversion opportunities in established urban and transit-driven markets. All 11 hotels are expected to join IHG’s system by the first half of 2027.
The expansion is backed by IHG’s commercial ecosystem, including its global distribution network and the IHG One Rewards loyalty programme, positioning the assets to capture both domestic and international demand.

“This agreement reinforces our strong confidence in the attractiveness and growth potential of the European hotel market… as we expand our voco, Garner and Holiday Inn brands, we’re delighted to offer guests even greater choice—backed by IHG’s trusted brands and scale.”
