Accor Group’s conservation-focused hospitality brand, Mantis, has unveiled plans for a new eco-luxury resort, Basiqat by Mantis, announced at the TOURISE Global Summit 2025 in Riyadh.

Set in Al Uyaynah, just 40 minutes from central Riyadh, the development is being brought to life by design&build in partnership with GIB Capital and the Tourism Development Fund (TDF). Scheduled to open at the end of 2026, Basiqat by Mantis will span two distinct sites and offer a total of 218 keys, including 90 suites, 66 villas, 10 luxurious Zad Palace Suites, and 52 beautifully designed desert tents.

Guests can look forward to a curated blend of amenities. These will include refined dining venues, lush, landscaped gardens, a full hydro spa, both indoor and outdoor pools, beauty salons, a yoga pavilion, and a wellness-focused health café. For families and corporate travellers, the resort will also offer a vibrant souk, a kids club, and event and conference spaces.

The launch of Basiqat by Mantis comes at a time when Saudi Arabia is transforming into a global tourism destination under Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s Vision 2030, welcoming travellers from across the world with new cultural, adventure, and luxury experiences.
