Oman’s Ministry of Heritage and Tourism and Visit Qatar have announced a strategic partnership to strengthen regional tourism cooperation and promote multi-destination travel between the Sultanate of Oman and the State of Qatar. The announcement was made during the ministry’s participation at World Travel Market (WTM) London 2025.

As part of the agreement, Discover Oman and Visit Qatar will work together to develop integrated tourism packages that encourage international visitors, especially from Asia and Europe, to explore both countries in a single trip. Italy, Spain, and China have been selected as pilot markets, supported by the joint representative office of both entities in Italy. This office will coordinate upcoming promotional events and activities targeting these regions.
The partnership includes joint promotional tours, co-branding opportunities, and shared participation in major global tourism exhibitions. Both sides will also collaborate with leading travel and tourism companies to develop and market combined itineraries that highlight the cultural, natural, heritage and luxury experiences available in Oman and Qatar.
Through this cooperation, Oman and Qatar aim to increase visitor numbers and enhance regional connectivity.
