Diriyah Company has announced new luxury hotel developments as part of the ongoing transformation of Diriyah, Saudi Arabia’s historic heart and home to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of At-Turaif. The projects are being delivered in collaboration with global architecture and design firm Aedas.

The upcoming openings include The Oberoi Wadi Safar, Four Seasons Hotel Diriyah, Capella Diriyah, and Orient Express Diriyah, further strengthening Diriyah’s positioning as a global destination for culture-led luxury hospitality.

The Oberoi Wadi Safar is being developed as an ultra-luxury retreat set within the Wadi Safar landscape, with low-rise villas and courtyard-based planning informed by Najdi agricultural heritage.

The Four Seasons Hotel Diriyah, a 150-key property, will be located along the Wadi Hanifah escarpment and designed as a village-style resort comprising clusters of traditional houses, connected by courtyards and shaded pathways.

Capella Diriyah, a 100-key luxury hotel, draws inspiration from traditional fortress architecture, with layered public-to-private spaces reflecting Diriyah’s historic urban fabric.

Making its regional debut, Orient Express Diriyah will feature 86 keys and occupy a prominent location along Diriyah’s luxury retail boulevard, organised around landscaped courtyards and souq-inspired circulation.

The architectural design of the projects is being delivered in collaboration with Aedas, with a focus on incorporating Najdi architectural elements and aligning each hotel with Diriyah’s broader masterplan.

The four hospitality developments form part of Diriyah Company’s wider strategy to establish the destination as a world-class cultural, lifestyle and tourism hub.
