Oman at the World Travel Market.
Oman showcased its tourism offerings at World Travel Market (WTM) London 2025, with the Oman Tourism Development Company (OMRAN Group) presenting the country’s luxury resorts, cultural heritage sites, and natural attractions to an international audience.
During the event, held from November 4-6, OMRAN Group highlighted eleven resorts and hotels, illustrating the variety of facilities and experiences available for corporate events, incentive travel, and conferences.
The participation also included the signing of agreements with global online travel agencies such as Klook, TripAdvisor, and MakeMyTrip, aimed at increasing Oman’s visibility in international markets and expanding its presence for business and leisure travellers alike.
Aligned with Oman’s National Tourism Strategy, the country’s tourism offerings emphasise sustainability, heritage, and eco-tourism. These elements, combined with modern hospitality infrastructure, offer options for MICE organisers seeking culturally rich, experiential destinations.
Khalid noted that Oman has several major projects underway to further enhance its MICE infrastructure, including the Oman Botanic Garden — a landmark development for the region — and new properties from global hotel brands such as Four Seasons, Club Med, and Rixos. These initiatives reflect Oman’s continued commitment to supporting business congresses and the broader MICE industry.
