IHG Hotels & Resorts’ Vignette Collection is expanding its presence across Greater China, adding new properties in Chengdu, Chongqing, Shanghai, Beidaihe, Qiandao Lake and Sanya this year, alongside the recent inclusion of The Hari Hong Kong.

The luxury collection brand brings together distinctive hotels that reflect their destinations’ cultural identities, local communities and lifestyles, offering travellers experiences beyond traditional accommodation.

Its portfolio is built around three core principles: One-of-a-Kind Stays, Memorable Rituals and A Means for Good. These are reflected through locally inspired experiences, signature guest rituals and community-focused initiatives.

Examples include TFT Chongqing, where design elements celebrate the city’s river landscape, and Palm Springs Hotel Chengdu, which introduces guests to traditional crafts such as Shu embroidery and fragrance-making. In Hong Kong, The Hari supports emerging artists through its art prize, while WM Hotel Hong Kong promotes marine conservation through community beach clean-ups.

Rita Jiang, Chief Commercial & Marketing Officer, Greater China, IHG Hotels & Resorts, said luxury travellers increasingly seek personalised experiences that connect them with local culture and communities. She added that the collection aims to inspire guests to explore destinations and create lasting memories.

The expansion strengthens Vignette Collection’s presence across Greater China, bringing together individual hotel identities, destination-led experiences and sustainability initiatives under one luxury brand.
