Splendid Surprise designed and executed a five-day destination wedding for Vaibhav and Priya at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, Palm Jumeirah in November 2025, transforming the luxury resort into the backdrop for a series of immersive celebrations.
The wedding featured five distinct events, a Tilak ceremony and welcome dinner, Mehendi, Sangeet, Haldi, and the wedding ceremony, each with its own theme, entertainment and décor concept.
The celebrations concluded with a traditional outdoor wedding on the resort’s lawn, where Splendid Surprise created a bespoke lotus-shaped mandap with a water feature and a custom-built amphitheatre-inspired seating arrangement. The décor embraced a timeless palette of red, maroon, orange and gold, complemented by traditional detailing and a gallery wall showcasing wedding photographs of guests, creating a nostalgic experience for attendees.
A major challenge emerged just 15 days before the event when the guest list increased from 150 to 400 attendees. The planning team reworked venue layouts, expanded catering and entertainment arrangements, and redesigned the overall production in close collaboration with Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, while maintaining the couple’s original vision.
