7Vachan delivered a large-scale destination wedding on 15th January for Riddhi & Lalit at Jaipur’s iconic Jaigarh Fort, bringing together over 500 guests for a multi-day celebration designed around immersive, globally inspired experiences.

Conceptualised as a journey through different moods, cultures, and environments, each function within the wedding carried a distinct identity while remaining connected through a cohesive storytelling approach. From a vibrant Mexico-inspired Welcome Lunch and an Afro-Egyptian Sundowner to a Mandarin-inspired daytime celebration, a Northern Lights-influenced Sangeet, and a Bali-inspired brunch, the celebrations combined experiential design with high-impact visual execution.

The final wedding ceremony drew heavily from royal Indian aesthetics, with deep red palettes, cascading marigold installations, and warm ambient lighting transforming the historic fort into a grand ceremonial setting. The central highlight of the celebration was a 14-foot elephant installation weighing over 700 kilograms, transported from Mumbai to Jaipur and positioned within the fort as the symbolic centrepiece of the décor design.
According to 7Vachan, the elephant installation represented faith, prosperity, and grandeur, inspired by Lord Ganpati. However, executing the structure within the heritage venue came with significant operational and logistical challenges. Due to Jaigarh Fort’s narrow pathways, layered architecture, sharp turns, and protected historic structures, the installation required extensive transportation planning, segmented movement, on-site reconstruction, and technical precision during assembly.

“What guests witnessed as a breathtaking visual centrepiece was the result of immense coordination, persistence, and teamwork behind the scenes. Transporting and reconstructing a 14-foot elephant installation inside a heritage fort came with countless operational challenges, but we wanted the experience to carry emotional and spiritual significance alongside visual impact. For us, weddings today are about creating immersive moments that guests don’t just see, but truly feel and remember.”

The wedding reflects the continued evolution of India’s luxury wedding market, where destination celebrations are increasingly moving beyond décor-led formats towards immersive, story-driven guest experiences that blend hospitality, entertainment, culture, and large-scale production design.

For 7Vachan, the project also highlighted the growing importance of experiential planning and operational execution in contemporary weddings, particularly within heritage venues where ambitious creative concepts must be balanced with complex venue logistics and preservation sensitivities.
